Since joining the Studios 301 team in 2018, Jess has worked alongside an admirable list of artists including Rae Sremmurd, King Princess, Kelly Rowland, Nick Littlemore, Julien Wilson Quartet, and Brockhampton. He started his career in Beijing, China, and relocated to Australia in 2014 where he continued to evolve his craft in various studios in Sydney as a producer and audio engineer. Jess is a talented upcoming producer, vocal producer and mix engineer. Jess Deskovic is our Technical Officer at Abbey Road Institute Sydney and an in-house engineer at Studios 301. He hopes to continue sharing his knowledge and expertise with Abbey Road Institute students, particularly in the mixing and recording process. Stefan has recently developed a niche for mentoring up and coming engineers alongside building and facilitating the 301 Academy.

Stefans engineering credits are highlighted by his work on Mac Millers’ posthumous album “Circles”, alongside an impressive list of notable Australian and International artists such as Elton John, Zedd, Delta Goodrem, Peking Duk, Diesel and many more.
He was also the principal engineer for Grammy Award-winning producer Darryl Torr (Soweto Gospel Choir), where he worked on albums by MTV and SAMA award-winning artists Die Antwoord, Spoek Mathambo, Zebra & Giraffe, Gangs of Ballet and Shortstraw. Stefan moved to Australia in 2015, relocating from South Africa where he owned and operated his own studio in Johannesburg. Stefan Du Randt has quickly earned a reputation as one of Studios 301’s most prolific producers, mixing and recording engineers. With over 1000 hours of international performance in the last 5 years Ryan is passionate about mentoring aspiring music professionals, enabling them to unlock their potential, excel and thrive, whether it be in music production, performance, recording or business. Extremely passionate about interdisciplinary community building in the arts, this zeal is also showcased in Ryan’s prolific output of collaborative production and songwriting.
Ryan currently runs innovative multi-arts events in Sydney – Almost Fridays – featuring live music, live visual arts, and live remixing. He continues to build and share his skills in this field, producing and performing within his own projects – dhanks and Really Nice. Over the course of his career, he’s has worked alongside, mixed and collaborated with artists such as Angus Stone, Icehouse, Steve Prestwich (Cold Chisel), Rei Thistlethwayte (Thirsty Merc), Fanny Lumsden, Dami Im, The Stray Sisters (The Waifs), and Nicole Miller.Īs a producer, Ryan has provided composition and sound design work for the likes of Arturia, leading critics to compare his work to Diplo and Architecture in Helsinki. He not only provides training to new talents but also works as a songwriter, producer, musician, DJ, and event curator. Ryan has been working in the music industry for 20 years, and he’s currently a specialist trainer for remixing and live sound at Abbey Road Institute.
